We’ve seen the bones of this creature before, for sure, but some terrific GGI monsters, swampy scares and Driver’s committed performance make 65 a snap-toothed popcorn multiplex movie which, at 93 minutes, is sprightly in comparison with its lumbering rivals. Read full review

There’s perhaps a kernel of a good film here, and a lead performance that’s better than it has any need to be, but shoddy execution, lazy world-building and a complete failure to capitalise on any of the potentially interesting threads that (perhaps accidentally) appear means 65 has less of an impact than the harrowing final episode of 90s sitcom The Dinosaurs. If you go into 65 expecting Star Wars meets Jurassic Park, lower your expectations. While there’s not enough outer space to call it an intergalactic odyssey and barely enough dino havoc, 65 has just the right amount of vigor to survive its relatively short runtime. Read full review

More serious than I expected but over all well done fun dinosaur disaster movie worth seeing just to find something original and not packed full of divisive crud.

Expect more aliens than jurassic world and its a good thing.

Interesting premise, and while it wasn’t horrible it could have been better executed. I would Ideally give it a 6.5, but Metacritic doesn’t allow half points, so 6 it is.

The attempt was there, but with the beautiful dinosaurs and good actors and actresses, you forgot that excitement and fresh ideas were also needed.
The film quickly becomes boring and repetitive. You struggle through it too often.

This movie has SO much potential and some truly impressive visuals, but it falls flat as it simply just meanders from one obstacle to the next in a plot that can’t decide what it wants to be.
